DONE - Research various organizations
DONE - Email different organizations...God opens and closes the right doors.
DONE - Print out application forms
DONE - Email regarding the summer term, finding out results
DONE - Talk to principal about next year's plans..he wasn't too happy...but it's all good.
DONE - Finish filling out application form

DONE - Go to doctor's office/hospital to get TB test
DONE - Get results of my TB test...good to go!
DONE - Write out a check...great $70 investment

You have officially been accepted as a student for the July QUARTER 2008.
We are glad you will be joining us at YWAM, University of the Nations Kona, Hawaii where we prepare people for missionary service in all areas of society, and all parts of the world. We are here to equip world changers.
Our official Arrival Day is July 03, 2008. However, Departure Day is different for each school, so you can contact your school directly in regards to those dates. (You will need to know this before booking your airline ticket.)

My Mustard and Ketchup Weekend!
I realized that I'm a simple girl and I love to keep it that way. I cherish the simple memories with family and friends - late Movie and Munchie Nights (and I had plenty of them this weekend!); staying up till almost 2 with my closest girlfriends, talking about anything and everything in life; shopping!..need I say more?; meeting new friends and meeting up with old ones...and, my all time favorite from this weekend - SLEEPOVERS and crashing out on the floor!
I praise God that these little moments mean the world to me.
Thank you, Mustard, for a super fun weekend! I praise God for our friendship and the fun times we share together...and I'm glad I'm not your weirdest friend. =P LOVE YOU!

Deny? Accept?
Aloha Nina,
We have now forwarded your completed application to DTS for review, prayer and acceptance/denial. You will receive within the next 2 weeks an acceptance email from Student Services or a denial phone call from the School.
I've had so many questions these past few weeks. I don't know where I'll be next year. I don't know what God has in store for me this summer. I'm not sure what to do. I have until the 28th of this month to accept the offer to teach again at CHCS. Hopefully within this time I'll hear from YWAM. I think I really need to just be still right now. I have so many thoughts swimming through my head...so many scenarios and "what ifs." Lord, what do you want me to do? Where do you want me?

My Ghost
It's haunted me for many years
for as long as I can remember
Sometimes it goes away for a period of time
but it's just waiting for the right moment
for the second to come back in
and raise the hairs on the back of my neck once again
It doesn't have a face nor a name
but I know it's there
I feel its presence more prominent at times
I know it's always there
looming over me and watching
waiting for the second to scare
It came full force in college
with tears running down my cheeks
I just had to accept it
I felt like I couldn't do anything about it
I still feel like that sometimes
especially now
I thought it went away
It was slowly disappearing, slowly fading away
I thought my nightmares would finally end
but it was all just a trick to catch me off my feet
to scare me to my knees
to make me shudder beneath its howls
I'm haunted yet again
